I’ll describe to you how to defeat Elemer of the Briar in Elden Ring. This boss is quite challenging. Unless you wear armor with high poise or you simply have a high poise rating for whatever reason, employing heavy weapons is really not the move for this monster. He does not stagger lightly by any means, and he can attack quite swiftly.

Elemer of the Briar Location in Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, there is a tiny fort-like dungeon called The Shaded Castle. The Altus Plateau’s northern region, between Mt. Gelmir and the Altus Plateau, is where you can find it. The Shaded Castle has a boss – Elemer of the Briar. He is required for the final achievement trophy as well as the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis, a crucial item needed later on to complete several optional tasks.

Therefore, he is equipped with a sword that he can brandish, just as one of the weapons in Symphony of the Night. If you’ve ever played a game with an atmosphere very similar to this one, you’ll remember that when a weapon glows red, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he will throw it, but it does imply that he will, at the very least, be dealing some additional damage with it. If you’ve ever played a game with an atmosphere very similar to this one, you’ll remember that when a weapon glows red, it doesn’t always indicate that the player will throw it.

Because of this, when he uses his shield bash, there is a chance that he will also increase the shield and let forth a gigantic second shock wave. This chance is equal to fifty percent, though. Because of this, you need to be on the lookout for this possibility. I would caution against being very severe with him. As a result of this, he was able to throw a second shockwave during a shield smash in a speedy and effective manner.

He will do a shield dash if he turns his shoulder in your direction while not attacking for a half-second. It’s really simple to avoid. You might bump into him. However, rolling away will cause you to take a lot of damage and put you in a lot of stagger.

He need a moment to put the shield back on his back after that shield bash. You can then move in and land a few hits. He can be parried, as I already explained. He does, however, need two parries to acquire one repast. I’m not really certain of the cause of that, though. He merely has a really high posture meter, I suppose.

He can also grab you. It resembles the Dark Hand from Dark Souls, but better. It does a ton of damage, yet it doesn’t de-level you or take any of your humanity. Despite being completely avoidable, the length of time he sticks his hand out often causes me to panic roll. I’d estimate that 40% of the time I get hit by it.

As he prepares to end his combination, he uses the upgraded shield bash once more along with the second shock wave. A forward stab will practically fly right past you if you approach him from the right. You receive the Mirai executioner’s sword as payment for your trouble, and that is undoubtedly one of the legendary weapons. Please feel free to leave a remark below if you have any questions.
