What does OG mean in Fortnite?

Fortnite

What does OG status mean for Fortnite? Because I get a lot of confusion in the tweets of people. We’re going to talk about it, so what does Fortnite’s OG status imply? It basically implies that you’ve been playing the game since the beginning. OG means that you were in the beginning, you were an old-school player, exceptional or authentic. That is basically what that is. I think that season 1 is as close as possible to being over. Why do I say that? Well, like I said, OG meets the first people, the very first bunch of people, that started playing the game when it first started. Fortnite Battle Royale came out on September 26, 2017.

Fortnite season 1 started on October 25th, 2017 and you were not able to get anything to really show that you were a true OG besides the battle bus banner. Then on November 8th, 2017, you got the season chop. Once again, you had to pay for these things to prove that you were an OG. You could have gotten the Aerial Assault glider, the Aerial Assault trooper skin, the Renegade Raider skin, and the Raiders’ revenge harvesting tool. Now, you can kind of prove your worth by how much you’ve grown in a specific season. Buying a skin shows that you have started leveling up this high. It’s a little bit more of an extreme battle pass if you think about it, because battle passes are a lot easier to get than levels in the actual game. Now, I think I’m 82. It’s really hard to get to level 100.

To be honest with you, getting levels in this game is not very easy.

A level 100 skin is something that I hope will become available in the future for players that reach level 100. There was nothing in the original version of Fortnite to indicate that you had been playing the game from the very beginning. Simply put, there was no way. Utilizing things from the season shop is the most straightforward method for determining whether or not a player has been following the game since its inception. That sums it up nicely. The only way to demonstrate that you are an original player is to purchase stuff from the Season Shop. You have the harvesting tool, the banner, and the skin glider at your disposal. That is what you would have received if you had actually purchased those items. Even if you were one of the initial players, and you didn’t get any of those benefits, it’s still kind of a bummer because that’s just kind of a bummer in general.

Fortnite season 2

Fortnite season 2 started on December 14th, 2017 and I don’t think season 2 is OG. I think a lot of people that started playing in season 2, that profess themselves as OG players, are going to get very angry at me for having a different opinion to theirs. I’m just being honest. I don’t think starting on December 14th, 2017 makes you an original player. I think you guys started on September 26th, 2017 or even when the season shop first came out. That’s original to me. So, in my opinion, the definition of a Fortnite OG is someone that played the game back in season 1 or even before. When there were no cosmetics and you all ran with different colored skin defaults, it was all different.

If you purchased an account that already contained stuff from the first season, would that constitute you an original player? “Og” can refer to a wide variety of things; hence, it does not. It refers to the characters and players who were in the game at the beginning. I’m happy to say that we still have several of the original players from the first season. How drastically has the situation changed now? I’ll bet you everything that I still have friends from the first season, and they’ve told me that they never imagined Fortnite Battle Royale would evolve into what it is now. It’s amazing to see how drastically the map has changed as well as how many cars there are now.
