Who can you hire in Fortnite? In this article, I’d like to discuss the different types of npcs, that are available for hire in Fortnite. Also, I want to talk about how to complete one of the foundation challenges, which will be to hire a character and travel a distance of one thousand meters with them. I want to talk about how to do that.
This may appear to be quite challenging and in reality it is, but there is a small glitch that you can take advantage of. Actually, it is not so much a glitch as it is the way that non-player characters behave after they have been hired. There is something that you can do to make it much easier for them to follow you. If you go a certain distance away from them, eventually they will just teleport to you. If you do this, they will follow you much more easily.
So, in Fortnite you can hire: Lt. John Llama, The Visitor, Jonesy The First, Agent Jones and more.
Therefore, the thing that you can actually do is go on to a quad crusher, and even though you’re driving away really quickly, they will just keep following you even though you are.
Therefore, if you want to participate in this challenge, you should head to the area that is to the north-east of Krobert Cavern. You should be able to find Lt. John Llama in this area, and after hiring him for some amount of gold, such as seventy-five, you should be able to hop onto one of these quad crashes and drive away; after a short while, you should notice that he will just teleport to you.
All you have to do is leave a marker somewhere. He’s going to start following you first of all.
Then, if you look at the mini map in the top right, you will see the little blue dot that eventually should just appear behind you. So, the NPC will eventually just teleport to you and catch up to you. That should count as your traveling distance with them because they’re just programmed to just follow you the entire time.
After you have hired one of these NPCs, you should be able to cross the water if you simply use the quad crusher or even use a spider-man mythic or something along those lines. Perhaps it wasn’t the most original thought, but you can see that it’s been put into action, and the non-player character can now teleport to you. They will use teleportation in order to keep up with you, and this should count toward the challenge of hiring a character and traveling 1000 meters with them. Leave a comment below with your questions if you have any more to ask about anything.
